HYBRID Humidifiers & Purifiers

H400: The App always shows a value of 5°C and 10% relative humidity

Power off/on does not reset the sensor.
To restart the sensor, unplug the device and wait at least 2 minutes before reconnecting the device to the power supply.

H700 & H680: What accessories are necessary for the Hybrid device?

The A7017 Ionic Silver Stick® prevents the growth of microbes in the water pan (changed 1x per year).

The A681 HYBRID filter removes viruses, bacteria, pollen, fine dust and mites from the air and also reduces odours (changed 1x per year).

The AH700 evaporator mat is responsible for the natural humidification of the indoor air (cleaning every 2 weeks, descaling as required, change every 2 years).

The AH705 Silencing Grease is a special synthetic grease designed to reduce friction and wear of the rollers in the water pan (use as needed, recommended after each cleaning).

We recommend the A7417 Calc Off Cleaner and Descaler for BONECO Humidifiers (descaling as needed).

HYBRID: smells bad

The water has been in the water tank and in the water tub for a long time.

The device is not cleaned. Accessories are used up.

H700 & H680: Can the Evaporator Mat be cleaned / descaled?

The mat supplied with the H680 original may only be washed by hand. To do this, remove the evaporator mat from the drum and wash it by hand with warm water and dishwashing liquid.

The AH700 evaporator mat supplied with the H700, which is also available as an accessory for the H700 and H680 models, can also be washed in the washing machine at max. 40°C.

The Evaporator Mat was not properly inserted into the drum.

Check the evaporator mat for correct fit. Limescale deposits on internal parts.

Descale the device. Friction of the rollers (water pan).

Drum blocked or motor defective.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains, check the drum for freewheeling, reconnect the appliance to the mains, contact the service center if the fault persists.

H700 & H680: Why does the HYBRID device show error E2?

Open the front cover and close it correctly.

Fan blade blocked or motor defective.

Disconnect the device from the mains, check the fan blades for freewheeling, reconnect the device to the mains, contact the service center if the fault persists.

H700 & H680: Why does the cleaning symbol appear on the display immediately after the descaling process?

  • After the descaling process, the water pan was not emptied. Empty the water pan and put the water pan back into the device.
  • The descaling process was aborted. Press the triangular buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to hide the cleaning icon. Please refer to the operating instructions for the device.

H700 & H680: Why does the cleaning icon appear regularly?

The device records the operating hours and thus reminds you to clean it in good time so that hygienic operation can continue to be guaranteed.

Do HYBRID devices produce noise during operation?

HYBRID devices are extremely quiet in operation and only produce a gentle noise that is reminiscent of white noise. Models with an additional water tank work on the principle of a bird bath. Every now and then, there may be "gurgling" noises when water flows into the tub. These noises are perfectly normal and a sign that the device is working properly.

Can the desired operating mode (Air Purifier, Humidifier, Hybrid) be set only in the app or also directly on the device?

The desired operating mode can only be stored in the app.

Will my HYBRID device automatically switch to air purification mode in hybrid mode once the desired humidity level has been reached?

If the preset target humidity is exceeded in hybrid mode and the particle sensor does not detect "bad" air quality, the device will go into standby mode, which is indicated by the pulsing LED on the device (above the LED ring).

If the desired humidity is reached, but the device detects poor air quality, the operation remains active, but without the humidifier drum spinning.

If filling up water does not work, check the app for existing error messages.

H700 & H680: Desired relative humidity is not achieved

  • Due to the natural evaporation principle, more time is needed for the humidity to rise.
  • The air circulation in the room is very high. Close doors and windows.
  • The device is placed near a poorly insulated window or door, which causes air circulation.
  • In the case of high rooms, wooden buildings and wooden furniture, the humidification of the indoor air takes correspondingly longer.
  • The windows are open, which allows cold and dry air to enter the room. Close window.
  • Do not do without shock ventilation.
